Sweeet this is so cool! Cant wait for more!
hello my loyal fans.
today at work, instead of studying for the second actuary exam (like I did for eight hours yesterday…and got paid to do), I’m getting some things done. Of course they don’t have any work for me until next week (I guess Christmas comes and everything stops, right?).
My morning has been interesting. I had a smooth ride to work on the subway, got here (nobody was here), got some pancakes (nom nom nom) and now i’m miserable. I decided to wear 28 size dress pants today and they are hugging me tight. Okay I unbuttoned so it’s actually all good, I just feel really fat.
anyway - time to be productive! have a lovely day everyone.
and…happy 2 years buddy :)
looks like i need to start chugging the felix, felicis: Atlanta is expected to get its first white Christmas in ages. This would be cute if I didn’t have a flight to DC tomorrow. Apparently Delta canceled 500 flights today ahead of any snow. I just CANT STAND the airline industry this year, here is why:
Maybe I’ll make it back to DC tomorrow, maybe not. Hook me up JK rowling.
OUCH. so i was innocently working on my ICE final exam the other day and I stepped on a shard of glass that was in my apartment that I must have missed whenever I broke that drinking glass. The thing is IN MY HEEL and it hurts. Of course student health closed the moment I did it (12PM Saturday if you were curious), so I’m about 20 minutes away now from going to get it pulled out and I’m FREAKING OUT. I’ve been hobbling between my apartment and clemons for the last two days and I just want to walk again. I guess it’s real easy to take that for granted.
Anyway in a few I will be a free, walking man again! Woohoo!
And I have 3/7 ice final parts to finish, and 24 hours to do it. yikes.
i’ll kick things off with a rant. shocker.
as I was telling Kyle over the weekend (as we ate chinese food) about one of my biggest pet peeves: plastic. not just in general though, specifically individuals who insist on covering things in their home, like chairs and couches, with plastic! This not only totally ruins the quality of the experience of sitting in the chair (which I personally enjoy?) and ends up looking like you were too lazy or too stupid to take the covering off it when it was shipped to you. HELLO. I understand that these people want to “preserve” their furniture for as long as possible. But they are as stupid as people with abstinence: just get it over with and it will be fine!
okay. strange reference, I know. But think about that one friend you have, who never takes the plastic off their cell phones when they get a new phone. You know you have a friend like this who really insists on never peeling those thin layers of plastic off the cover, in order to “protect the phone”. No, it’s actually made to “protect the phone” when ITS BEING SHIPPED FROM THE MANUFACTURER…but anyway, don’t they have real cases and covers you can buy after you take that crappy plastic you get in the box off? Anyway, on two occasions I have peeled the plastic off of my friends’ phones who said they wanted to keep the manufactures plastic on. Lets just say they got very upset, but then said they enjoyed it without the plastic a few days later. that’s all i’m sayin’.
